COMPOSE is a large and complex project with many tasks and various partners. As such it requires a good project management tool.The purpose of this document is to give an overview of the project internal project web site and collaboration environment, which serves mostly for project management purposes. The screenshots incorporated in this document reflect the project state at a specific point in time during project setup. Project information will be updated on a regular basis, reflecting the current project status. Furthermore, items will be updated and modified as we gain more experience and insight while working with the software. COMPOSE chose Redmine as the project management tool. It is important to note that this is the internal working environment of the project and restricted only to the consortium partners. Every partner has write access to all project items. This is a collaborative environment and it's everybody’s responsibility to track progress of their tasks and documents and to maximize the utilization provided by the tool's capabilities provided such as Gantt charts, wikis, and calendars. The COMPOSE collaboration space is administrated by IBM and Create-Net. This document is not intended to replace the Redmine user manual, but rather to illustrate via screenshots how COMPOSE manages its progress and assets and collaborates internally by using this internal web site.
